More Than A Feeling

I used bright colors and a retro typography treatment to elevate the raucous, exciting experience of attending Social Venture Partners Sacramento's Fast Pitch event where entrepreneurs pitched against each other for cash. Photographer Joan Cusick somehow found out who the grand prize winner would be, moments before it was announced, which provided a perfect image for the opening spread for the feature.
